Yesterday, what began as a quick peek to spy on birds gobbling up worms from the muddied yard turned into play-in-the-rain day. Yes, I allowed the girls to play outside (barefoot) in the rain for almost half an hour. And it was not a warm rain, nor was it a particularly warm day.
But there was, after all, Stick and Leaf Soup to prepare.
Followed by a warm bath, hot cocoa, and happy grins.
